I'm rather jealous about the dance thing, & a bit sad you hid your light all those years. Think of all the times we could've been deafened on the GaFilk dance floor. ;)
Back when ze spouse & I were dating, we took a social dance class [I even paid for it]. The tango was fine, because it was walking around the room, & he could handle that. The others [foxtrot, rhumba, etc.] got trickier. I said to bend his knees, & he squatted. I said to move his hips, & he said, "where are they?" We went to church dances, & the other librarians would grab him & drag him out on the dance floor [lawyer in the headlights--tee hee hee]. Then we got married, & I didn't make him dance anymore. If we have to [at weddings, etc.], the white person box-step I taught him in dating days works just fine; he's always had an admirably firm grip on things. [in more ways than one; if you knew the sheer number of wrestling shows getting taped every week, there'd be no question of who's leading the dance around here.]
