About the blisters, my bridesmaid [the p.e. & kindergarten teacher] has a great tip for avoiding blisters. Wear 2 pairs of socks, with the inner pair turned wrong-side out. Ever since I've been doing that, I've only got blisters the time ze spouse dragged me on a 4-hour exploration all over Baltimore.
