Ha! I thought I was the only one whose FireFox did this! (I do find a way around it: Click into the entry area, then press Shift+Tab - then the blinky is in the Subject area and I can write there)
I read that it might be an issue caused by selecting the 'remember password' option on the entry form, although I'm not positive - and I am too, ahem, lazy to explore the issue. I found my way around, so I just stick to it. I also frequently edit my posts, so I tend to stick to the web form. :)
