Moving House

mbernardiMy sister and brother in law have been living with me for the last two years, since they sold their flat. They wanted to buy or build their dream home, in Somerset, but just over two months ago they decided that this wasn't possible long distance (130 miles), and rented a house, gave notice to quit, got new jobs, and moved out.
Four weeks ago my Mum and Dad were invited over for a final Sunday dinner, probably the last time they'll get a home cooked meal in my house!
Three week ends ago the keys to their new house were collected.
Last week end most of their furniture and other stuff was hauled away (in more than one trip) and my brother in law stayed over.
Today my sister cleared out most of the remaining stuff, packed it into her car and left.
They will be back in the New Year to visit, and get the few bits left behind, (and hopefully any stuff of mine they picked up by accident)
But it's going to be strange living on my own again.
