Arrived at Heathrow yesterday afternoon, there is free Wifi for web access. Dinner last night in hotel. Early to bed, full english breakfast first thing. Con hasn't quite started yet.

Heh, for you perhaps! It's hard to tell when it started for me (two years ago? ...) as I spent last Sunday shopping for the con, Tuesday evening dropping stuff at the hotel, Wednesday evening generating stuff for printouts etc. and Thursday helping to set things up, hindering the bag stuffing, shopping for fridges, printers, piles of fresh fruit and cheese, going to Staples etc.

But the con has started, I did two programme items before the opening ceremony (and some nice handsome charming and modest man MC'd the opening ceremony ... no wait, I'm wrong, it was me!)

And then spent the rest of the evening either in ops or wandering around talking to people, and failing to pull :-)

I did do an almighty faux pas when I made some flirtacious comment to a young lady that I've always found intriguing, only to be told by one of *his* friends afterwards that he's transitioning from being a woman, whoops! Who knew?
