mbernardiI didn't actually do anything that interesting yesterday, but I did get some useful presents from my younger sister. These were all to replace items in my kitchen that really should have been thrown away some time ago ;)
So I now have a shiny new vegetable rack, on castors; an oven mitt and a large chopping board. My sister was very pleased with me when the old ones went into the bin!
In the post were cards from Susan & Tony (Aunt & Uncle) and James Bryant (traveler extraordinaire). Also a copy of Charlaine Harris' "Definitely Dead" arrived from amazon.co.uk.
After the opening of the presents I watched Mythbusters (on Discovery channel) a repeat of the one with the Mentos and diet cola fountains. Then saw a repeat of the first episode of Bones, then saw a new episode, of The Dresden Files (incubus babies and Claudia Black oh my) and finally watched Painkiller Jane the original pilot movie, downloaded via bittorrent, (not the new one as it doesn't get broadcast til tomorrow in the US).
And then to bed!
