Off to Worldcon / Montreal
Aug. 4th, 2009 08:33 amSo Tuesday morning up at the crack of dawn, 4:45 and then off to the station to catch the first train of the day, the 5:26 to London Bridge. Arrived in London only 50 minutes later then down to the tube station and the Jubilee line to X then change to the DLR for City Airport.
Arriving at 6:50 I was too early to check my luggage but was able to use a kiosk to print out both my tickets to Amsterdam and then to Montreal. I used up half an hour playing sudoku then 2 hours before flight VG0218 was due to take off checked my new back pack, through to Montreal, then through security in 10 minutes! I don't know if that was due to the airport size, or the early morning.
City Airport has free wifi so I was able to to upload this before boarding.
